As part of this significant initiative, the UN Resident Coordinator in North Macedonia, Ms. Rita Columbia, and the Rector of South East European University (SEEU), Prof. Dr. Sadudin Ibraimi, signed a Declaration of Intent. This document formalizes a strategic partnership between the United Nations and SEEU in support of sustainable development.
The United Nations expressed its appreciation to South East European University for its long-standing commitment to sustainability, social responsibility, and its active partnership with the UN system.
Through the SustainEd platform, SEEU will play a vital role in mobilizing academic expertise, scientific research, and student engagement. These efforts will focus on the implementation of the SDGs and the National Development Strategy, contributing to accelerated, inclusive, and sustainable development across the country.
