Visit of the Reis ul-Ulema and the Muftis of Tetovo and Gostivar at SEEU

South East European University continues to serve as an important hub for dialogue and cooperation with the country’s highest institutions. Today, SEEU had the honor of hosting the Reis ul-Ulema of the Islamic Religious Community of the Republic of North Macedonia, Shaqir ef. Fetahu, the Mufti of Tetovo, Selver ef. Xhemaili, and the Mufti of Gostivar, Sabahudin ef. Zendeli.

During the meeting with SEEU Rector, Prof. Dr. Sadudin Ibraimi, accompanied by the Advisor for International Relations and Community, Prof. Dr. Besa Arifi, the guests congratulated him on his new mandate as Rector, highlighting SEEU’s role as an institution that fosters knowledge, values, and social progress.

The discussions centered on current developments in higher education and explored concrete opportunities for inter-institutional cooperation. Both sides expressed their commitment to building strong partnerships that will support the educational, cultural, and social development of the community.
