The event brought together scholars, researchers, and professionals from over 20 countries, offering a platform to exchange ideas and research on key topics including sustainable development, the circular economy, artificial intelligence, entrepreneurship, marketing, finance, and the legal aspects of economic resilience.
The conference was officially opened by Prof. Dr. Besa Arifi, Pro-Rector for Research and International Cooperation, who expressed gratitude to all participants, especially the researchers who contributed their work across various fields and topics.
Prof. Dr. Hyrije Abazi-Alili, Dean of the Faculty of Business and Economics, welcomed attendees and extended thanks to both the participants and the staff for their contributions to the successful organization of the event. She emphasized that the conference aims to address complex and interdisciplinary challenges.
Discussing the organization, scale, and outcomes of the conference, Prof. Dr. Veland Ramadani, Chairman of the Conference, noted the continued growth in both participation and academic contribution. He highlighted that selected scientific papers will be published in the Springer Proceedings in Business and Economics, indexed in Scopus.
The plenary session featured prominent keynote speakers, including: Prof. Dr. Christina Theodoraki (France), who presented “Designing Resilient & Sustainable Entrepreneurial Ecosystems in an Uncertain World”; Acad. Prof. Dr. Abdylmenaf Bexheti, who spoke on “Economic Decoupling and New Challenges”; Acad. Prof. Dr. Besnik A. Krasniqi (Kosovo), who presented “Innovating for Sustainability: How Institutions and Entrepreneurship Drive Sustainable Business Models in Europe.”
The conference continued with parallel sessions featuring approximately 100 scientific papers presented by 160 authors across six thematic areas: Sustainability and the Circular Economy; Economics and Finance; Entrepreneurship and Family Business; Management and Marketing; Information Systems and Artificial Intelligence; Legal Aspects and Economic Resilience.
