SEEU honors the life and work of Prof. Dr. Asllan Bilalli

At this commemorative event, a speech was delivered by the Rector of SEEU, Acad. Prof. Dr. Abdylmenaf Bexheti, who highly praised Professor Bilal's commitment since the founding of the University, as well as his key role in establishing the Faculty of Law.

“Prof. Asllan Bilalli was one of the first pillars of this University and especially of the Faculty of Law. His contribution is invaluable and remains an inseparable part of our institutional history. As a university we express our willingness, if he has left any work in manuscript, to undertake its publication, thus honoring his academic legacy,” – said the rector Bexheti.

The Dean of the Faculty of Law, Prof. Dr. Adnan Jashari, also spoke about the life and work of the deceased, who emotionally evoked memories from the many years of collaboration with Prof. Bilal, describing him as an example of professional dedication, wisdom and academic correctness.

On behalf of the family, the professor's son, Bilall Bilalli, addressed the audience, thanking the University for the honor and respect shown to his father.

The brief biography of his life and career was read by Prof. Bekim Nuhiu, a close associate of the deceased, who shared some of the most representative moments of Prof. Bilal's academic journey.

This memorial meeting was attended by family members, colleagues, students and numerous guests, who honored the memory of one of the most important figures in legal education in the country with a minute of silence.
