This traditional event allowed the graduates to get acquainted with the study programs, scholarship opportunities, study requirements and student life at the SEEU modern campus in Tetovo. Activities began with a welcoming speech, by the Rector of the South East European University, Acad. Prof. Dr. Abdylmenaf Bexheti, who addressed the attendees, encouraging them to follow the path of knowledge and become part of an institution that offers quality education with an international perspective.
During the day, the graduates participated in various activities, including the presentation of faculties and study programs at information stands, a campus tour, and visit of the university's modern laboratories.
Lectures and practical demonstrations from various faculties, including a crime scene simulation from the Faculty of Law, a competition for the best business plan from the Faculty of Business and Economics, as well as presentations of technological innovations from the Faculty of Contemporary Sciences and Technologies, an interactive quiz from the Faculty of Languages, Cultures and Communication, a demonstration of practical exercises on Physiotherapy and General Nursing from the Faculty of Health Sciences, training on soft skills by the Faculty of Contemporary Social Sciences and a presentation of student works from the Faculty of Technical Sciences.
One of the most special moments of the day was the Futsal Tournament, organized by the SEEU Sports Department. The tournament featured high school graduates from Kumanovo, Skopje, Tetovo, Gostivar, Dibra, Kičevo and Struga, as well as the SEEU student team from the Student Parliament and Association. After a tough and exciting competition, the high school graduates from Skopje were the winners of the first place, while the second and third places were taken by the high school graduates from Kumanovo and the Maarif School of Tetovo.
The festive atmosphere of the day was completed by the well-known soloist from Tetovo, Fjolla Ibraimi, who, together with her band, brought special energy and emotions to all participants.
"Open Day" is an important activity for all high school graduates who want to make the right choice for their future studies. South East European University remains committed to providing a high-level education, preparing students for the global job market.
