Scientific conference on the work of Academician Luan Starova

In the organization of the Department of Albanian Language and Literature of the Faculty of Philosophy of the "Saint Cyril and Methodius" University, yesterday (November 8, 2023), in Skopje, an international scientific conference dedicated to the work of the late Academician Luan Starova was held.

In this conference, the Rector of the South East European University, Acad. Prof. Dr. Abdylmenaf Bexheti, spoke about the multidimensional contribution of Academician Luan Starova, especially in higher education, emphasizing his commitment and contribution as a member of the SEEU staff in the first decade of operation.

"Contribution of Academician Starova has been multidimensional and this is best evidenced by his works that are known not only within the country, but internationally" said Rector Bexheti.

Academician Luan Starova was a famous novelist, essayist, poet and diplomat and in the period 2002-2009 he was part of the academic staff of SEEU.
