This visit is also valued as a way of training, which aims to explain the objectives of the EU integration processes and policies. Students lead by Ass. Prof. Dr. Ylber Sela were received by Ms. Erika Zuderell, Representative of the European Commission Directorate for Education and Culture; especially for this occasion several lectures were delivered on the topics: "The Role and Function of European Institutions" by Mr. Jo Vendercappellen, "Integration of the Western Balkans into the European Union with Special Focus on Kosovo" by Mr. Stefano Dotto, and "The Integration of Western Balkans into the European Union with Special Focus on Macedonia" by Mr. Per  Ibold.
Moreover, under the framework of the program, students also visited the Ambassador of the Republic of Macedonia to the EU, Prof. Dr. Blerim Reka, who informed SEEU’s students about perspectives of the Western Balkans to the EU and challenges of this process, including the name issue, opening of accession negotiations, and visa liberalisation for Kosovo and Albania.
