Rector Acad. Prof. Dr. Abdylmenaf Bexheti, thanked students, staff of the Faculty of Law and the experts engaged within this Faculty for their engagement and commitment for successful opening and operation of the Forensic Laboratory. He said that, after the opening of the Legal Clinic and now the Forensic Laboratory, the SEEU Faculty of Law is becoming a leader in the country and the region in training students in judicial practice.
“Our goal, as a University, has always been that our students have the opportunity to apply the theoretical knowledge in practice, which they receive with great quality during their studies. Books do not teach students all and practice is what trains the student professionally" said Rector Bexheti, in his address speech.
Dean of the Faculty of Law, Prof. Dr. Adnan Jashari, in his speech, thanked the Rector for the support provided, as well as the experts engaged in the establishment and operation of the laboratory.
"This is the second functional laboratory within the Faculty of Law and with this we have covered a large part of legal practice. Our plans are to continue with the practical application of knowledge and the engagement of a larger number of experts from the field" said Dean Jashari.
Head of the Laboratory Ass. Prof. Dr. Blerta Arifi-Ahmedi, said that the opening of this laboratory is a great achievement for the University and the Faculty of Law.
"The laboratory will enable our students to be professionally distinguished in the labor market," said Blerta Arifi.
Students of Criminalistics and Security studies then demonstrated a part of the realization of the internship by using the equipment and tools from the Forensic Laboratory.
This is a unique laboratory, the first to operate within the universities in North Macedonia and is equipped to contribute to the professional training of students, skills needed for the labor market.
