Associate Professor Ali Pajaziti publishes his book entitled, Dictionary of Sociology

Basic information for every sociological concept is given in this new dictionary which explains and illustrates different variations of words or given sociological concepts and interpretation of different conceptual variations and their usage with references from original authors. Instead of focusing on several sociological concepts, the author adheres to principle that, “sociology has a clear theoretical core, but it also has one utterly undefined perimeter,” as said by John Scott and Gordon Marshal, authors of Oxford Dictionary of Sociology (2005).

Dictionary of Sociology is a work that suits a broad sociological parameter and is in permanent development. This dictionary does not serve merely sociologists, students of sociology, and those interested in this science, it also serves all those interested in sciences linked to sociology. Terms that have a broad usage and basic concepts of political sciences, psychology, history, and anthropology can be found in this new dictionary.
