Deepening of cooperation between SEEU and the Italian Embassy

A delegation of the Italian Embassy in North Macedonia, led by the new Ambassador H.E. Andrea Silvestri, today (January 28, 2021), visited the South East European University in Tetovo. The delegation met with the Rector, Acad. Prof. Dr. Abdylmenaf Bexheti and the Pro-Rector for International Cooperation and Research, Prof. Dr. Besa Arifi.

During this informative character visit, the continuation of cooperation with the Italian Embassy and the further strengthening of mutual ties and partnerships were discussed.

Rector Bexheti informed Ambassador Silvesteri about the current developments at SEEU, manner of functioning, the leadership of the University and some of the priorities of the University in the near future.

Pro-Rector Arifi, made a retrospective of our University cooperation with the Italian Embassy and universities.

The success of implementation of the Italian language as an elective course at the University was highlighted at this meeting and the interest of students to learn this language is very high.

Currently dozens of joint projects are implemented between South East European University and the most famous Italian universities.
