Equipment mainly are visual aids, didactic materials, digital magnifiers, Braille typewriters and Braille printers, smart panels, other supporting and specialized devices, such as: Braille screens and keyboards, support for special courses such as math, art, science, etc.
The USAID and LCIF project Children with Visual Impairment (CwVIP) was a 5-year project launched in October 2014 by Southeast European University (SEEU) with financial support from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the International Lions Club Foundation (LCIF).
The main purpose of CwVIP was to increase schooling opportunities for children with visual impairments and to make early detection and prevention of eye diseases.
The project had educational, medical and social elements and to primary schools in Skopje, Bitola, Shtip, Tetovo and Veles equipment are donated.
