South East European University is establishing a Youth Resource Centre (YRC) in Gostivar for the entire Polog region

South East European University, through a project funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in cooperation with the Municipality of Gostivar, is establishing a Youth Resource Centre (YRC) in Gostivar for the entire Polog region.

The mission of the centre will be to create opportunities for young people by providing training, supporting them in job searches, and by creating an entirely new network of youth and employers. The centre will also act as an innovation hub with innovative training curricula that will support young people in pursuing the jobs of the future, particularly in the IT sector, while also supporting the development of startup businesses.

The Youth Resource Centre will open in September 2020 in a big and recently renovated space containing private offices, shared workspace, recreational corners, and high technology. Recreation will also be an important part of the Centre. The Centre’s gaming room, cinema (amphitheatre), fitness room and huge garden will be at the member’s disposal for various recreational activities, as an additional incentive for membership. The core staff of the YRC is already working on the premises of the SEEU Campus.
