Zekije Azizi and Shpresa Izairi masters graduates from Business and Economics at SEEU winners of the first two places at the Annual Securities Commission Competition for Young Scholars

Zekije Azizi, MA graduate from South East European University is the winner of the first prize at the annual Securities and Exchange Commission competition for young scholars, for the best work in the field of capital market on the topic: “Analysis of bankruptcy patterns for business companies listed on the Macedonian Stock Exchange”.

In this competition, the second prize went to Shpresa Izairi Baftijari, also a master's student at the South East European University. Shpresa shared this award with Goran Hristov (assistant) at the Faculty of Economics -“St. Cyril and Methodius” University.

Zekije Azizi and Shpresa Izairi Baftijari have graduated in masters studies in Business and Economics in 2019.

Winners of the prizes will attend the free training "Investment counseling" provided by the Securities and Exchange Commission of the Republic of North Macedonia.

Mentor of the candidates was Prof. Dr. Jeton Mazllami, who expressed satisfaction with the success of the master graduates and stated that this proves the quality and professionalism of SEEU staff.
