Rector Bexheti, in his address supported the concept of inclusive society and gave examples about the way how SEEU functions by emphasizing that “good things are not easy and that the process of inclusion is a costly process in which all involved parties should believe.” He suggested that this strategy should be long-term and supported by all political entities in the country and that it should not be seen as a project for a cycle of governance. He further emphasized the importance of defining mechanisms for equal regional development, in order to ensure social cohesion. He also expressed the readiness for SEEU to be institutionally and voluntarily involved in the creation of mechanisms for the implementation of this strategy.
