Besides SEEU students, many University staff members and members of the renowned music band from Tetovo--Elita 5 joined the action. The event was attended by the Rector of South East European University, Acad. Prof. Dr. Abdylmenaf Bexheti, who said that the University always will support such initiatives that encourage us all to be more aware of the importance of environmental protection.
“The purpose of this action is to raise the awareness of the citizens of Tetovo, for a cleaner environment, if we cannot do not do something big, at least we should not pollute. Our University with such activities has started much earlier and this is part of its strategy, which for this purpose has approved and implemented the Climatic Action Plan” said Rector Bexheti.
"We will always support such initiatives for the city and we congratulate the SEEU Student Parliament and Association for the social responsibility that they are showing” said Arif Ziberi- the vocal of the music band Elita 5.
South East European University directly has participated and is initiator of many ecological actions at local and national level.
