A unique novelty at the SEEU Law Faculty!

The Faculty of Law at SEEU, in cooperation with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Macedonia, from April 12, 2018 will start with the implementation of the program 'Training for the Preparation of the Bar exam'. The training is accredited by the Board for Accreditation and Evaluation of the Higher Education in the Republic of Macedonia and it represents a novelty at the Faculty of Law, SEEU by distinguishing it from other law faculties in the country.

The bar exam extends the opportunities of affirmation for graduated lawyers because for the fulfilment of their professional obligations completion of this exam is a requirement. Hence, following the trends of contemporary law faculties, which give priority to the training and practical part, we found it reasonable to offer training for taking bar exam for the students and other interested candidates.

Content and manner of organizing the training

The training program is based on the Program for completion of the bar exam, according to Article 7 of the Law on Bar Exam, Official Gazette of the Republic of Macedonia no. 137/2013 (http://www.pravdiko.mk/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/Zakon-za-pravosudniot-ispit-07-10-2013.pdf).

The training will be conducted in two sessions: theoretical and practical part.

Theoretical part of the training will involve experienced and proven professors in the relevant legal fields, while the practical part, will involve experts from the legal practice (judges, public prosecutors, attorneys, executors, notaries, etc.).

The theoretical part of the training will include these areas:

1. Civil law (material and procedural);
2. Criminal (material and procedural) law;
3. Labor law; 4. Commercial law;
4. International Law, Constitutional Law and Administrative Law.

The practical part of the training will include:

1. Case Studies - Civil Law;
2. Case Studies - Criminal Law.

The total number of hours:57 hours (1 hour is 50 minutes)

Students and candidates who will attend the training will have access to all the necessary materials based on the program for taking the bar exam prepared by the Ministry of Justice. Candidates during the training will also have free access to www.akademika.com.mk for all normative acts. Candidates at any time can seek advice from professors, experts, and the coordinator of the training during the duration of the training but also during the period of taking of the bar exam at the Ministry of Justice.

This training is offered to students of the second cycle of the Law Faculty-SEEU, as well as other interested candidates.

Application deadline

The deadline for application is 11 April, 2018.

Candidates at any time can seek advice from professors, experts, and the coordinator of the training during the duration of the training but also during the period of taking of the bar exam at the Ministry of Justice.

Cost of training

The cost of the training for preparation of the Bar Exam is 10.000,00 MKD.
(*The discount will be available for the postgraduate students of Faculty of Law-SEEU.)

Candidates can make payment in two installments.
