During their assessment they held meetings with the Rector of the University, Prof. Dr. Zamir Dika; the Rector's Executive Team; the Provost; Deans and Administrative Directors; as well as with representatives of the Student Parliament and Association, and the Student Ombudsperson.
The foci of their visit were quality assurance and other related activities, such as the accreditation of study programmes, the implementation of academic and administrative standards, the conduct of the student-teacher evaluation, and the inclusion of students in all processes within University.
The External Quality Champions are international experts, contracted by the University to assess and advise management and staff on how to improve the quality of the University work, and to develop positive experiences for the students. Their engagement in South East European University's quality assurance processes is one of the strategic priorities of the University's academic and scientific work.
