During this meeting, in addition to the implementation of the existing bilateral agreement ERASMUS +, other aspects of inter-university cooperation were also discussed.
The two Rectors discussed the possibility of establishing cooperation in the exchange of academic staff and students, as well as joint research programs and a joint study program (joint degree). In this context, it is expected that the Rector of the University of Istanbul will visit SEEU in September, where these issues will be formalized.
During this visit to Istanbul, Rector Dika and Professor Reka were also received in the Yidliz Technical University (established in 1911) by the Vice-Rector, Prof. Dr. Mesut Guner, who signed an agreement for interuniversity cooperation.
The SEEU delegation had meetings with the academic staff of the Faculty of Law of Istanbul, which were attended by Prof. Dr. Abdullah Islamoglu, as well as those of the Department of Political Science, the "Yildiz Techinal University". In this case there was also a cordial meeting with Prof. Dr. Mehmet Haersalioglu, an expert on the Balkans.
