The book brings analysis of different religious communities’ statutes, as a result of internal self-regulation norms.
SEEU’s Pro-Rector for International Relations, Prof. Dr. Blerim Reka, said that the book comes at a critical moment when religion is being abused and politicized, as well as at a time of nationalization of religion and its militarization.
The author stated in his presentation that “religious conflicts have happened in the region, but not in the Albanian area, due to the secularism of the system that contributed in developing pluralism and tolerance between members of different religions”.
The author is a researcher of Comparative Law, Ecclesiastical Law and Human Rights, as well as the relation between religion and state in Albania.
