He lectured on the subject of democracy in the world today with a specific focus on the significance of international communication. The lecture of Professor Sotiropoulos was met with great interest among the students of the International Communications programme, particularly because he shared his experience and expertise obtained from various universities in the USA and UK, including the London School of Economics (where he completed his MA) and Yale University (where he finished his PhD).
The students of International Communications were actively engaged, especially in the second part of the lecture when they were involved in an interactive session of the workshop organized by the professor on the topic of contemporary democracy across the world and the role of international communications.
