SEEU student Artan Xhemaili wins first prize for the best business plan

Artan Xhemaili, a South East European University (SEEU) student, won the first prize for the best business plan for business start-ups in the competition “Be perspective-start-up your business”, organized by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Macedonia.

His project was about labour market enlargement, from local to global.

‘I want to thank the Ministry of Economy for the opportunity given to us to start a new business and to be able to achieve our goals" said Mr. Xhemaili.

According to the Rector of SEEU, Prof. Dr. Zamir Dika, it is good that institutions had succeeded to cooperate at a high level, and the Ministry of Economy has achieved this through incentives to encourage students to start their business ideas. "This initiative has created new bridges between universities and businesses, especially considering our experience, where many ideas that have come from us, are functioning as successful business companies", said Rector Dika.

The Minister of Economy, Bekim Neziri, has promised to continue further to stimulate students to move successfully into the future.
