The SEEU Pro-Rector for International Relations Prof. Dr. Blerim Reka, participated in World Science Forum

Pro-Rector for International Relations Prof. Dr. Blerim Reka, participated in World Science Forum, (Budapest, 3-7 November 2015) the biggest science forum, which is organizing every two years. He was the only invited participant from the Republic of Macedonia.

World Science Forum was gathering of around 900 scientists from all parts of the world including Japanese Nobel Prize Winner Hiroshi Amano from Nagoya University , who was one of the key speaker.

The Forum was open by the President of Hungary Academy of Science Laslo Lovasz and Hungarian PM Victor Orban, and through video message from UN Headquarters from New York by UN SG Ban Kee Moon. Also their address to this forum had the Irina Bokova Director General of UNESCO.

Pro-Rector Reka meet and discussed cooperation of SEEU with participants from many universities and Academy of Science, like: 3 Presidents of Academy of Science (Hungary, South Korea and Turkey); than professors from USA , EU and Asian universities, like: Northeastern Un. Boston, Wilmington College, Un. of Ohio, UN University Mastricht, Institute of Science and Technology, Vienna, Seoul National University, South Korea, Research Council of Sultanate of Oman, etc
