Prof. Dr. Izet Zeqiri elected Associate Member of MASA

From 22^nd June 2015, Prof. Dr. Izet Zeqiri is among five new associate members of the Macedonian Academy of Science and Arts (MASA), in the field of Social Sciences. Prof. Dr. Zeqiri was elected in the 18^th Election Assembly of the Academy held on 17^th June 2015.

Professor Zeqiri is lecturer in the Faculty of Business and Economics, South East European University (SEEU). The other four new elected associate members are Marjan Markoviq, Dragi Gjorgjiev, Aleksander Dimovski and Sashko Kedev, all of them from different scientific fields.

The Rector of the South East European University Prof. Dr. Zamir Dika and members of the Rector’s Executive Team congratulated professor Zeqiri on election, by evaluating this as scientific achievement for the University and indicator for outstanding contributions to research in general.

The President of MASA, Academician Vlado Kambovski, said the new members of the Academy have been selected to withstand the challenges of the modern era and they enrich the Academy.
