The SEEU team, consisted of Veronika Kareva and Kujtim Ramadani from the Language Center and Husejn Idrizi, a CST Faculty student, was selected to present Macedonia at an international learning competition in Budapest from May 4 to 8 where it won the first prize from the online voting among 15 other countries. The competition was organized by the US Regional Language Office for Central and South-East Europe and sponsored by the US Department of State and it was about creating a mobile application for learning English incorporating the element of social responsibility. The application for which the SEEU team has been awarded is called “Raise Your Voice” and its aim is to raise the awareness among teenagers from all over the world about protesting as a kind of expressing disagreement and different opinion from the others in an appropriate, civilized and democratic way.
