Concrete steps for cooperation between SEEU and German universities

Representatives of the SEEU Faculty of Business and Economics met with representatives of the University of Applied Sciences South Westphalia inMeschede on 8 and 9 April 2015. During this meeting the participants agreed on several points of mutual cooperation.

Both faculties agreed to organize a Summer School 2016 which will be held in Tetovo and in which students from Germany and Macedonia will participate; there will be an evaluation of common dual (integrated) study programmes for students from Macedonia; and there will be exchanges of lecturers, students and administrative staff of SEEU.

The meeting was organized by Prof. Dr. Ewald Mittelstädt, responsible for Entrepreneurship Education and Research. Representing South East European University were Prof. Dr. Norbert Marx, Advisor for Integrated Studies, and Prof. Dr. Besnik Fetaji, from the Faculty of Business and Economics. Representing the University of Meschede were Prof. Dr.-Ing. Claus Schuster, Rector, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Paul Gronau, Member of the Academic Centre for Dual Studies and Education, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Martin Botteck, Head of the Research Centre for Communication Services and Applications, Ms. Dagmar Perizonius,Head of the International Office and Christian Klett, Head of the PR Office.

As part of this visit Prof. Dr. Besnik Fetaji held a lecture for the German students regarding the economy of Macedonia.
