Open Doors in Skopje highlight the interest to study at SEEU

On Friday (17th April 2015), high school graduates, parents and other interested parties from Skopje, Kumanovo, Lipkovo, Prilep, and Bujanoc high schools visited the South East European University building in Skopje, as part of the Open Day celebrations.

In the main presentation, which was held in the large lecture hall, high school graduates were closely acquainted with the academic offerings of South East European University (SEEU) for the new academic year 2015/2016.

The Rector’s Advisor, Demush Bajrami, stressedthat today there are many options that are available, but we must give priority and recognition to the University's reputation, the quality of study programmes, infrastructure, mobility and the attractive location of the University.

Vladimir Radevski, Director of the SEEU Campus in Skopje, said the campus is a good opportunity to study as it provides diverse multicultural and multilingual choices.

The Pro-rector for International Relations, Prof. Dr. Blerim Reka, stressed the importance of greater participation of high school graduates in the University scholarship offer for this year, where all high school graduateswith a cumulative GPA of 5.00 will gain full scholarship, which covers 50 percent of the tuition fee. Those students who have a cumulative GPA over 4.5, but lower than 5.0, will earn a scholarship which will cover 30 percent of the tuition fee.

The Deputy-President of the SEEU Student Parliament Association, Fuad Jonuzi, presented his experience at SEEU, in front of high school graduates, who said that this University diploma opens the doors toward European perspectives by bringing students closer to the global labour market.

Within the Open Day celebrations, the SEEU faculties presented their study programmes and students held various student activities. The SEEU Sports Department organized the final matches in ping-pong and a bike tour in Skopje.

The University is proud to note that high school graduates have shown a significant interest about the SEEU study programme offering for the coming academic year.
