The SEEU Pro-rector for International Relations, Prof. Dr. Blerim Reka, described the presence of Prof. Rexhep Qosja as special event, calling him an "emblematic figure of Albanians”.
The Head of the SEEU Department of Albanian Language and Literature, Prof. Dr. Zeqir Kadriu, said Rexhep Qosja is and remains one of the most prominent personalities amongst Albanians, who has throughout his life written and worked for the Albanian people.
“Today we promote five books from the academic life of Rexhep Qosja. These books will remain the biggest diaries not only by the volume, but as well for the period of time that they cover," said Academician Xhevat Lloshi during the promotion.
Academician Rexhep Qosja spoke about the aim of writing this diary. “Technology does its own work. My manuscripts written with a pen started to fade and not be easily readable. This led me to publish and rewrite because I believe that there is much evidence available for a long period of time. In these books I have not tried to prejudice someone, but I have criticized some deeds done, and I have praised the same people when they do good and important national deeds", Qosja emphasized.
“Diary – witness in historical time” covers the period from 1966 and is expected to have four other volumes; the work is being brought out by the publishing house "Toena" from Tirana.
