Ilir Shaqiri promoted the book 'Tan Temali'

“I have always sung by finding beautiful songs and words and I have found these among our writers, while the beautiful word has always followed me and I have run after it” said Mr. Shaqiri to an audience of many students and professors.

Rexhep Qosja--in the foreword of the book--writes that the novel "Tan Temali" is a novel of the historical and cultural events that have marked the life of our generation. It depicts the lives of the generation that created the national movement which finally resulted in the long-awaited dream of the Albanians: the freedom and independence of Kosova.

In his opening remarks, the Head of the SEEU Albanian Language Department, Prof. Dr. Zeqir Kadriu, said that: “the influences upon Ilir Shaqiri, in terms of Albanian literature, are surprising; but even more surprising is the vocabulary that he has used, especially the rare words, which enrich the vocabulary of the Albanian language.
