SEEU and University "Haxhi Zeka" from Peja sign cooperation agreement

On Tuesday (15th July 2014), in Tetovo, South East European University (SEEU) and University "Haxhi Zeka" from Peja signed a cooperation agreement.

The Rector of SEEU, Prof. Dr. Zamir Dika, welcomed the guests and briefed his counterpart on the organization and history of SEEU, as well as on plans and activities for the upcoming period.

“We will develop our activities in academic fields of mutual interest: particularly in relation to exchanges of academic staff, student exchanges in different study cycles for a semester, for study periods or periods of practice, for scientific research, conferences and academic meetings, for exchanges of academic materials and other necessary information, and for special short-term academic programs" said Rector Dika.

Prof. Dr. Naser Mrasori, Rector of "Haxhi Zeka," pointed out that the purpose of this agreement is to develop academic cooperation in university studies and in the development of research activities, as well as to promote scientific and cultural linkages between the two Universities.

“Both our universities are close to each other geographically, therefore for us is easy indeed to intensify our cooperation, a cooperation that comes after a very enjoyable experience with Rector Dika at the time when I was at the University of Prishtina," said Rector Mrasori.

This kind of cooperation is not only a contribution to regional higher education, but also a concrete motivation for staff and students to exchange experiences among themselves.
