An English learning Camp was held at SEEU Skopje from23 to 27 June organized by the Language Centre, SEEU Skopje and coordinated by the American professor from Indiana Wesleyan University, Rachelle Neal. The camp was a great opportunity for our students to practice their English skills in an interaction with native American speakers, but also a wonderful possibility to start some new friendships with their American colleagues. They worked in groups to create a short video project which was presented on the last day of the camp, the "Premiere". It was fabulous to see how these young people produced something valuable for them, something that they were proud of at the end of the camp. During classes students learned how to search for jobs, how to write a resume, how to prepare for an interview, role-played different situations related to travelling etc. They also visited a restaurant where they practiced food requests and complaints and eventually created a film that was shown on big screen in the Lecture Hall at SEEU Skopje. Such a camp was organized at SEEU for the first time, but the interactive and intercultural practice will continue in the future, as well.
