“Perhaps one year is too short to evaluate the performance of the Technological Park, but it is enough time to reflect on the work done. I think this park has managed to fulfil some of the main objectives. Already it is a place which unites students, academia and business," said the Rector of SEEU, Prof. Dr. Zamir Dika, in his welcoming speech.
The Director of the Technological Park Doc. Dr. Azir Aliu, presented the main activities and future goals.“SEEU Technological Park today marks one year as an institution, but as an idea it is much older than that, more precisely, it has been considered since 2010. Within the park, there are currently located three companies, which have a total of 30 employees, and so far 30 trainings and 8 panel discussions are held," Aliu observed.
The Director of the Fund for Innovation and Technology Development, Jasmina Poposka, congratulated the management for their work and stressed the importance of mutual cooperation.“We hope that our cooperation will be strengthened in the future in order to help young generations not to leave the country, but to see the perspective here,"said Ms. Popovska.
The President of the Economic Chamber of the North-West Macedonia (ECNWM), Menderes Kuci, said he was pleased with the work done so far with this park.
“The work of the park and this solemnity today prove that science finally has started to speak with the language of business,” said Kuci.
