The South East European University was the organizer and host of the nationwide tournament in indoor football held on Tuesday (13 November 2012) in the sports hall of the Medical High School under the auspices of the SEEU Rector Prof. Dr. Zamir Dika, on the occasion of the 100th Anniversary of the Independence of Albania.
In his opening speech the SEEU Rector’s Advisor for PR, Mr. Demush Bajrami said:
“All nations have their historical dates that include their values and achievements. We Albanians, above all, have one historic date that distinguishes us from others – the Independence and National Flag Day, through this date we Albanians 100 years ago were able to manifest our inner spiritual and civilization integrity. Today as part of this tournament, in the calendar of events of great importance has entered this tournament that embodies our national unity ties.”
“Moreover, this tournament synthesizes the vision and dynamics of emancipation, cultural and sports developments of Albanians wherever they are. By raising the quality of sports throughout time, Albanians have shown their views for society and life,” said Demush Bajrami.
“Being an integral part of European cultural and psychological body, Albanians, along with other progressive nations of the Balkans, have realized that the most violent does not win, but the more civilized and more cultural. This tournament is devoted to the many manifestations, cultural and scientific conferences for the Albanian issue organized by the South East European University in this 100th Anniversary of Independence,” said among others Bajrami.

SEE University – National Team of Albania 2:3
Based on the achieved results first place went to the Albanian Team with 6 points, second place went to Kosovo team with 3 points and third place went to the SEE University team.
The organizer for the three participating teams awarded a cup and gratitude.
