Non-Formal Education Conference Held at SEEU

On Monday (May 21, 2012), a donor conference for non-formal education for the new undergraduate and postgraduate study programmes Leadership and Youth Work in Community was organized by the South East European University in Tetovo and the Centre for Non-formal Education "Triagolnik".

“The study programmes Leadership and Youth Work in Community are already accredited and today we have invited friends and supporters of this program to support these studies in form of scholarships“, said among others the SEEU Rector Prof. Dr. Zamir Dika.

The Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Maria Henriette Schurman said they are willing to support these study programmes because informal education is very important for education in general.

The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden, Lars Wahlund, said that informal education is very important for society in general.

Mirjana Gjeorgjievska, from the Centre "Triagolnik", said the purpose of these studies is to enable students to work in all educational institutions, day care centres, youth centres, etc.

The study programmes Leadership and Youth Work in Community are offered by the Faculty of Public Administration and Political Sciences at SEEU.
