The conference for the role of the civil society in voluntary work was held at SEEU

The conference "The role of the civil society in voluntary work for development of a democratic and participative society” that was organized at the campus of the SEE University brought together key-note speakers from the field of civil society and university professors from Macedonia and abroad.

The conference took place on June 30th 2011 LH3 lecture Hall at the SEEU campus in Tetovo and it was organized by the Institute for Democracy and Development in cooperation with the USA Embassy, Royal Norway Embassy in Skopje and as well as Department of Communication Sciences of the SEE University.

Following speakers presented their speeches at the conference: Brian Bauer (Education and Cultural Attaché from U.S. Embassy Skopje); Herman Baskar (Deputy Ambassador of the Royal Norway Embassy); Andrew Goodspeed (Dean of Faculty of Languages, Cultures and Communication); Veton Latifi (President of the Institute for Democracy and Development); Joseph Coelho (Seton Hill University, Greensburg, USA); Gordana Icevska (George Brown College, Toronto, Canada); Demush Bajrami (Adviser for Communication to the Rector of the SEEU); Daniela Stojanova (Macedonian Centre for International Cooperation); Hasan Jashari (SEEU), etc.
