This book is the result of the same titled research project that was conducted by the authors and funded by the fund for support of scientific research at the South East European University in Tetovo. The objective was not only to do a survey of employee satisfaction in the companies from the Pollog region, but also to determine wether the main theoretical approaches are applicable in this region. Conclusions and recommendations presented at the end of the book are derived from the results of empirical research conducted in 155 companies from various sectors in the region of Pollog. A total number of 2.000 employees have been surveyed for the needs of the research project. The results achieved through this project are based on scientific research and practice can be used freely by the managers of business organizations in their tendencies to increase the performance of their companies
