Rector Ibraimi Attended the Promotion of the Book “Massacres in Kosovo 1998–1999”

South East European University continues to demonstrate its commitment to being an active participant in developments of social, cultural, and historical significance in the region. As an academic institution, SEEU contributes to the preservation of historical memory and the promotion of scientific truth by supporting initiatives that encourage research, debate, and reflection on issues affecting society.

In this context, the Rector of South East European University, Prof. Dr. Sadudin Ibraimi, attended today the promotion of the book “Massacres in Kosovo 1998–1999” by Shkëlzen Gashi, organized at the Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in Skopje.

At the event, Rector Ibraimi was accompanied by Prof. Dr. Besa Arifi, Advisor for International Relations and Community at SEEU.

The promotion was attended by scholars, institutional representatives, and figures from culture and science, who emphasized the importance of documenting war crimes as a foundation for building peace and justice.

This publication sheds light on one of the most tragic periods in Kosovo’s history, documenting—through testimonies and verified facts, the crimes committed against Albanian civilians during 1998–1999. The book represents a significant contribution to the scientific documentation of truth and the preservation of collective memory.
