The Southeast European University (SEEU) has achieved a very significant result in the QS global ranking, ranking in position 576. This places our university close to "St. Cyril and Methodius" University in Skopje, which is ranked 440th, and very close to "Goce Delchev" University, ranked 558th, while being much farther ahead of the "St. Kliment Ohridski" University, which is ranked 675th.
Compared to other Albanian-speaking universities, SEEU holds a much higher position and is in the first place, leaving all other Albanian-speaking universities in the region behind. According to the QS global ranking list, the Agricultural University of Tirana is ranked 605th, while the "Aleksander Moisiu" University of Durrës is ranked 607th. No other Albanian-speaking university is ranked higher than SEEU, which confirms the strength and reputation of this academic institution.
Another important change this year is that the number of universities included in this ranking has increased. According to new data, around 300 new universities have been added, bringing the total number of universities included in the QS Ranking this year to over 1,700. This development reflects the improvement and expansion of competition among universities worldwide.
Compared to the previous ranking, this ranking shows significant progress for the South East European University and its growing recognition on an international level.
