SEEU success story in the 20-year offer of Italian language and culture

In the organization of the Embassy of Italy, today (May 8, 2023), in Skopje, the National Conference of the Italian Language in North Macedonia was held, which was attended by well-known representatives of educational, cultural and local government institutions, as well as experts fans of the Italian language from many professional fields.

Within the panel on the topic: "The Italian language and the national education system - experience and success stories", the Rector of the South East European University, Acad. Prof. Dr. Abdylmenaf Bexheti, in the role of panelist, spoke on the topic "Italian language as an elective foreign language in higher education institutions in North Macedonia".

“South East European University is a very successful story in the 20-year offer of the Italian language and culture in North Macedonia", Rector Bexheti noted among other things.

The conference was held under the central theme "A language of many possibilities", and the Italian ambassador to North Macedonia, Andrea Silvesteri, the Macedonian Minister of Education and Science, Jeton Shaqiri and the Minister of Culture, Biserka Kostadinovska - Stojčevska, participated in the opening of the conference.
