Telegram of condolence from the South East European University as powerful quake hits Turkey

On behalf of the staff and students of the South East European University, the Rector Acad. Prof. Dr. Abdylmenaf Bexheti, through a telegram of condolence sent to the Embassy of Turkey in Skopje, has expressed the most sincere condolences to the families of the victims of the powerful earthquake that occurred today (February 6, 2023), in several cities in Turkey.

"We are deeply saddened by the news about the powerful earthquake that hit Turkey today and we express our deepest condolences to the families of the victims and to the entire people of Turkey and we pray for overcoming of this tragedy with as few consequences and with less pain as possible" it is said the telegram of condolence.

South East European University is standing by international activities to help the victims and we hope that the Turkish people and state will overcome this tragedy of such great proportions.

"We are sure that in these difficult moments, what we need is solidarity and humanity, which is being demonstrated and will be demonstrated more and more in the coming days" it is said, among other things, in the telegram of condolence of the South East European University.
