This gathering was attended by well-known Albanian scientific and public figures. At the plenary session there were discussions about historical, ethnographic, linguistic and other aspects related to the figure of Gjergj Kastrioti – Skanderbeg.
The meeting was opened by the Rector of South East European University, Acad. Prof. Dr. sc. Abdylmenaf Bexheti; the Minister of Culture of RM, Mr. Asaf Ademi; the Senior officer of the Ministry of Education and Science, Mr. Safet Neziri; the Mayor of the Municipality of Çair, Mr. Visar Ganiu, director of the Albanian Research Institute--Alb-Shkenca, Prof. dr. Gentian Zyberi, Senior Political Advisor to the Minister of Education, Science and Technology of Kosovo, Fehmi Hysenaj and other distinguished personalities.
Within the scope of this meeting there were scientific papers in four parallel conference disciplines: Philology, History, Culture and Terminology; Agriculture; Nature and Environment; and Engineering, Technology and Informatics.
