The realization of the photovoltaic plant project and the fulfilment of the objectives set in its strategic development mission--specifically, the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and carbon neutrality--are serious plans that have led South East European University to become an eco-campus, by increasing renewable energy sources and achieving better energy efficiency.
"The Report on the Implementation of South East European University's Climate Action Plan, adopted in 2010, and which foresaw a reduction by 34.8% of Greenhouse Gases by 2020, indicates a serious commitment that coincides with our ambition and professionalism. We are committed to achieve carbon neutrality and to be a true eco-campus by 2030," said the Rector of SEEU, Prof. Dr. Zamir Dika.
