Open Day provides an opportunity to become closely acquainted with the academic offerings of the University, and to observe personally all of the associated infrastructure that the University possesses.
“This day begins with a Language Fair because languages are a distinct competitive advantage of this University. Each student, regardless of the study programme in which he or she is enrolled, follows and learns languages. SEEU is a university established by international donors, stakeholders, and instructors, and learning the English language makes our students competitive in the international labour market,” said the Rector of SEEU, Prof. Dr. Zamir Dika.
“High school graduates had the opportunity to see the University campus and facilities and to become acquainted with the curricula. To present the academic offers there were central presentation based on the University, and presentations at the Faculty level, in order to present more subject specific options. In these latter meetings students, teachers, and families had the opportunity to meet with representatives from each Dean's office, faculty administration and other student services offered by the University” said Demush Bajrami, Rector’s Executive Adviser
A unique opportunity for all graduates are the SEEU scholarships and these were presented by Abaz Selmani, Director of Student Service. Direct scholarships are based on the student's success in high school; students with a cumulative G.P.A. of 5.00 will gain a full scholarship, which covers 50 percent of the tuition fee. Those students who have a cumulative G.P.A. over 4.5, but lower than 5.0, will earn a scholarship which will cover 30 percent of the tuition fee. In addition to this, prospective students will have other financial supports, through various programmes provided by the business community and different international organizations.
