The Rector of the University of Prishtina, Prof. Dr. Marjan Dema, was received by his SEEU counterpart, Prof. Dr. Zamir Dika, in Tetovo

The meeting was also attended by the Rector Emeritus of SEEU, Academician Alajdin Abazi; the Rector's Advisor for PR and Communications, Dr. Demush Bajrami; and the Vice-Rector of the University of Prishtina, Prof. Dr. Faton Berisha.

Rector Dika said that after fifteen years of existence SEEU has managed to build an authentic and original profile, by creating the necessary infrastructure to set up scientific research and to transform it into an academic culture.

“We have developed the scientific research database and today staff research profiles and publications appear just with a click," said Rector Dika, adding that the University has begun the implementation of performance-based contracts and individual research plans for all academic staff.

Rector Dema spoke about the need for creating new joint models of knowledge for the development of research performance. "I am a supporter of qualitative cooperation between our universities, particularly when it offers new opportunities to work on joint projects," stated Rector Dema
