On Monday, 15 December 2014, South East European University in Tetovo and the University of Applied Sciences Saarlandes, Germany, signed a Memorandum of cooperation in order to establish joint-study programmes of mutual interest.
The memorandum was signed by the rectors of the two universities, Prof. Dr. Zamir Dika and Prof. Dr. Wolrad Rommel.
The two universities will collaborate on the creation of a joint programme within a global engineering initiative in the field of quality assurance engineering, expanding their cooperation with industry--in this case, with a subsidiary of the well-known company in Macedonia, Apave SEE.
Rector Dika also noted that this cooperation is within the framework of the SEEU Strategy for Internationalization, in order to exchange experiences in managing international joint programmes.
