The Ambassador of the United Kingdom to the Republic of Macedonia, Mr Charles Garrett, visited SEEU in Tetovo for the first time on 12 September. He was received by the President of the University Board (Prof Dr Dennis Farrington), the Provost (Prof Dr Andrew Goodspeed), the Secretary-General (Mr Xhevair Memedi) and the Executive Adviser for Performance and Quality (Mrs Heather Henshaw). After a discussion on the history and continuing mission of SEEU, and how the University might forge closer links with universities in the UK, the Ambassador toured the campus, observed the Sustainable Energy Building, the photovoltaic plant and the new biomass heating plant and visited the University Library.
