Max van der Stoel Institute (MVDS) is cordially inviting you to attend a presentation entitled "Towards Blockchain-enabled Wireless Mesh Networks" by Mennan Selimi.

Mennan Selimi is the newly appointed Associate Professor at the Max van der Stoel Institute (SEEU). Previously, he was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Cambridge (https://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/~ms2382/). He has a PhD in Distributed Computing (With Distinction and Honors) from UPC Barcelona and IST Lisbon and a Master degree in Computer Engineering from Sapienza University of Rome. He was working as a R&D Engineer at Ammbr startup (http://ammbr.com/) which aims to build a worldwide, wireless mesh telecommunication network using blockchain. His current interests include wireless mesh networks, blockchain technology and edge computing. He has published extensively in academic conferences and journals and his work has been presented in Facebook HQ, IETF meetings, EU H2020 and FP7 projects etc.
