This award ceremony officially was opened by the SEEU Pro-rector for Research Prof. Dr. Blerim Reka, who on this occasion said that “students of this program are privileged, because they are part of this program, which enables strong professional preparation and it is very important not only for professional development, but also for the development of private business”.
Demush Bajrami, Rector’s Advisor said: “Today, the developed world has widely entered the era that I would call "educational revolution era", by valuing the individual preparations of each one of us. Level of knowledge and gained skills in a more general sense, should include in itself the rhythm of this world trends. I hope this generation of yours, who successfully have finished training, will know to find the right track. Only like this from now on we will have more prepared staff for labour market. So, we should not forget that labour market is dedicated to well trained individuals who will contribute to the future. Every effort to improve the economy and reduce unemployment is based on the effective quality of education and acquired skills”.
Students from Kosovo were greeted by the Dean of the Faculty of Public Administration and Political Science, Prof. Dr. Elena Andreevska.
The Pro-dean of the Faculty of Public Administration and Political Science, Prof. Dr. Jonuz Abdullai, said that: “today are awarding certificates to students who successfully have completed the Programme Leadership and Community Youth Work Program and they have gained 60 ECTS, which may transfer to the continuation of the first cycle studies at the South East European University and in other universities”.
Mirjana Gjorgjevska, representative of the Non-Governmental Organization "Triagolnik", said: “students who received certificates today have done a have worked really hard during their study and academic research. I believe that in future the connections created, will have impact on these 28 leaders who will help on the transfer of Kosovar society towards European perspectives.
Albulena Zaimi, representative of the Organisation "CED", said the students have come a long but successful way. We hopethat they will contribute to the development of Kosovo society.
Arif Kamberi, one of the students who received certificate, expressed his and group impressions for the success of this study program and he thanked the South East European University and the Organization "Triagolnik" for their support.
This is the second year in row that SEEU organizes the award ceremony for students who successfully complete the training programme Leadership and Community Youth Work.
