A commemorative meeting on the occasion of the death of Prof. Nazmi Maliqi was held

“Prof. Maliqi he was a quiet, wise personality, above all a true professional and very dedicated to his work. He was a tireless worker and persistent to the end. These qualities were recognized by the population; therefore, he and his work will remain unforgettable", said, among other things, in his speech, the Rector of the South East European University--Acad. Prof. Dr. Abdylmenaf Bexheti. In his address Rector Bexheti evoked some memories from meetings and working with the deceasedas well.

For the life and work of Prof. Dr. Nazmi Maliqi, the Dean of the Faculty of Contemporary Social Sciences, Prof. Dr. Merita Zulfiu-Alili delivered her remarks.

In this meeting, memories were also evoked by Mr. Lutfi Aziri, as a colleague and friend, describing the life and work of Prof. Maliqi, as multi-dimensional, not only from academic and political, but also a national aspect.

The daughter, Drita Maliqi, in her speech with a lot of emotions, thanked the University for organizing this commemoration, which, as she said, is the place where her late father started his academic career and the place where she studied.

Many public figures from North Macedonia and Kosovo also participated in this event.
