Traditional welcome meeting with new students

As part of the orientation week for new students, today (September 20, 2023), the traditional welcoming meeting with new enrolled students was held at the South East European University in Tetovo. The meeting with the new students was also organized at SEEU Center in Skopje.

"Students are in the center of attention and we are prepared to answer any request or concern you may have. It is enough for you to be committed, with passion and enthusiasm to work to build your future", emphasized in his address speech the Rector of South East European University, Acad. Prof. Dr. Abdylmenaf Bexheti, in the meeting with the students.

"You must use the competitive advantages that SEEU offers in order to prepare as professionally as possible for a better future for you and your families. These possibilities are not imaginary stories, but reality that you can confirm from the previous generations, especially from the last 4-5 years!", Rector Bexheti underlined.

The rector urged the students to use the multicultural and multilingual environment to create networks, both local and regional, as well as international, which will be so valuable tomorrow.

"I am very pleased that we have cooperation with the most popular university in North Macedonia and in the wider region. Education is the main tool to empower the individual and you can be sure that you will get this quality in this institution", said the president of the Shams Foundation, from Dallas, USA” said Mr. Kamrudin Shams.

" Student Parliament and Association always will be at your side in the journey you have just started and you will always have our support in every initiative and idea you will have," said Demir Demiri, president of this association.

He invited the new students to join the many student clubs and to take active part in student organizations.

At the meeting that took place at the SEEU Center in Skopje, the freshmen were welcomed by Pro-Rector for Academic Planning and Digitization, Prof. Dr. Adrian Besimi, Director of the SEEU Center, Prof. Dr. Veland Ramadani and the Vice-president of the Student Parliament and Association, Adem Sopa.

During the Orientation Week, students will get to know the infrastructure of the University, will be provided with student identification documents (ID cards), will compile the schedule and will get to know student advisors and other administrative services of the University.

They will also get to know the main services of the university, such as Student services, IT service, Library, Career Centre service and the faculties where they have chosen to study.
