In this tragedy 22 people lost their lives and extensive material damages were caused to residential homes, agriculture and numerous companies. SEEU representatives Dr. Xhevair Memedi, the Secretary-General of the University, and Dr. Demush Bajrami, the Rector's Advisor for Communication and PR, visited the residential district Hasanbeg in Skopje and were closely informed about the very difficult situation on the ground. In a meeting with representatives of the Crisis Headquarters, which was held in the primary school ‘25 May’, they were informed about the difficulties that are being faced in attempting to manage the situation following the natural disaster.
SEEU donated assistance for families that suffered from catastrophic floods in the Skopje region
15 August 2016On Monday (15 August 2016), representatives of South East European University (SEEU) donated food packages and hygiene items for 100 families in the residential district Hasanbeg which suffered from the catastrophic floods of 6th August in the Skopje region.
